Stray Kids member Hyunjin has once again made a striking beauty statement with his latest hair transformation. Known for his creative and bold looks, the artist has previously surprised fans with everything from DIY manicures to Versace-inspired hair dyes. Now, he’s taking things to the next level with a unique spiderweb design shaved into his buzzcut.
Hyunjin debuted his new hairstyle over the weekend during a performance at São Paulo’s Estádio Morumbi as part of Stray Kids’ <dominATE> world tour. In photos and fan videos from the show, the 23-year-old showed off his newly dyed black buzzcut, which featured an undercut “hair tattoo” — a spiderweb design shaved just above the nape of his neck.
The striking look quickly went viral on social media, with fans reacting enthusiastically. “This is f*cking sick wtf,” one fan tweeted, sharing a picture of Hyunjin’s new style. “He stays just serving iconic look after iconic look, tbh,” another fan added, reflecting the general consensus. The spiderweb design seems to be a perfect fit for both Hyunjin’s personal style and the <dominATE> tour theme.
The design may also be inspired by Stray Kids’ 2022 song “거미줄” (translated to “VENOM” in English), from their album Oddinary. The word “거미줄” literally translates to “spiderweb” in Korean, and the track features multiple arachnid references, including the mention of a “spider” sung by Hyunjin himself.
Although the song wasn’t originally part of the main setlist for previous shows in Asia and Australia, it has since been incorporated into the TEAM SKZ dance medley during recent concerts in Latin America. With his bold hair design, Hyunjin is making sure fans don’t forget about the track.
The big question now is whether Hyunjin will keep the spiderweb design for the rest of the tour or surprise fans with another creative look as the concert series continues.
