Postpartum hair loss is a common concern for many women. In a previous interview with HT Lifestyle, Medha Singh, an aesthetician and CEO of Juvena Herbals Pvt. Ltd., explained that many new mothers face significant hair shedding after childbirth. “During pregnancy, women often experience hair growth due to hormonal changes, but after delivery, this hair begins to fall, sometimes leading to emotional distress,” she said.
Singh noted that proper nutrition, a balanced diet, and sufficient sleep during pregnancy can help reduce the impact of postpartum hair loss. She also emphasized the importance of external care. “Keeping the scalp hydrated is crucial,” Singh added. “Although the body is made up of 70% water, it doesn’t release it onto the scalp. Hydration needs to be supplemented externally.”
Shraddha’s openness about her postpartum experience has resonated with many fans, offering a reminder that the journey into motherhood comes with both joy and challenges.
