Paige DeSorbo Celebrates Big Year and New Haircare Deal

by lily

Just a few months into 2025, Paige DeSorbo is already having a standout year. The Summer House star kicked off January on tour for Giggly Squad, the hit podcast she co-hosts with comedian Hannah Berner. The duo sold out major venues, including New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall. By February, DeSorbo was sitting front row at top Fashion Week shows like Christian Siriano and Michael Kors. In early March, she joined Berner on the Oscars red carpet, where they interviewed celebrities such as Amy Poehler and Hailey Bieber.

Next, DeSorbo is preparing to release her first book, co-written with Berner, which debuts in mid-April. Although the pair initially considered hiring a ghostwriter, they ended up writing it themselves. The process involved a shared Google Doc and edits from Berner’s mother. “It was a very humbling experience… but it was so much fun,” DeSorbo said.

DeSorbo first gained recognition as a cast member on Summer House, introduced as a young woman from a traditional Italian family in upstate New York. Over time, she’s built her own name, becoming known for her humor, sharp wit, and strong presence at reality TV reunions. The nickname “Giggly Squad” started as a joke on the show, but DeSorbo and Berner turned it into a podcast and community. The platform explores pop culture, dating, mental health, and personal stories.

Today, Giggly Squad represents a growing group of women who connect over shared experiences and a love for not taking life too seriously. “Girls always tell us that we’ve helped them through tough times,” DeSorbo said. “But really, they’ve helped us even more.”

Now, DeSorbo is launching a new project as the face of TRESemmé’s Lamellar Gloss Collection. Known for her glossy, healthy hair and occasional last-minute bangs before Summer House reunions, DeSorbo called the brand partnership “a dream come true.”

In an interview with InStyle, DeSorbo opened up about her beauty habits, her “I made it” moments, and how she deals with bad days.

A Simple, Shiny Hair Routine

DeSorbo says she’s never dyed her hair and sticks to a simple routine focused on shine. “My mom wouldn’t even let me get pink highlights in high school,” she said. “It stuck with me.” Her go-to look includes using hair oil and slicking her hair into a bun.

“I’ll chop my hair whenever,” she added, noting that she often makes bold cuts right before Summer House reunions. “It’s psychotic, but fitting.”

Getting Ready: Hair First, Then Makeup

When preparing for an event, DeSorbo follows a specific ritual. “I always wear an oversized T-shirt,” she said. “And I do my hair first, then my makeup. That order matters to me.”

A Reset for Bad Hair Days

For off days or when she’s feeling low, DeSorbo turns to a full self-care routine. “Psychics have told me to take a shower when I’m having a bad day,” she said. “So I take a full girl shower and do a hair mask or oil treatment. It helps me feel like something in my life is together.”

A Career Highlight on Stage

Of all her recent achievements, one moment stands out. “When Hannah and I performed at Radio City, I told her we had to walk out before the audience filled the room,” DeSorbo said. “I’m not a crier, but as soon as I stepped on that stage, I started crying. It was huge for both of us.”

With a growing fanbase, a book on the way, and a new beauty campaign, DeSorbo is continuing to turn personal moments into major milestones—always with humor, heart, and style.
