Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, known for working with stars like Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, and Katy Perry, had been battling health issues for months before his unexpected death, TMZ has learned.
Sources close to the situation revealed that Guerrero had been experiencing a series of concerning symptoms since September of the previous year. He had reportedly lost 20 pounds and was suffering from chills and hot flashes, yet he continued to fulfill work commitments in Dublin, England, and Dubai despite his deteriorating health.
On February 21, after returning to the U.S. from Dubai, Guerrero was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles. Tragically, he passed away the following day.
There are no indications of drug or alcohol use, and while an autopsy has been completed, the results of toxicology tests are still pending. His sudden and unexpected death was described as shocking by his sister, with many of the A-list celebrities he worked with sharing emotional tributes to their late friend.
In an act of generosity, Kylie Jenner, one of his closest clients, covered the costs of transporting his body back to his family in Houston, Texas, and also pledged to pay for his funeral expenses.
