Gypsy Rose Blanchard, known for her tumultuous past and recent transformation, has unveiled a bold new look, marking a fresh chapter in her life. The 2024 mother of Aurora, who is currently doing press for Season 2 of her Lifetime docuseries Life After Lockup, decided it was time to revamp her hairstyle.
For much of her early life, Gypsy’s mother, Dee Dee, kept her hair shaved, maintaining the illusion that Gypsy was seriously ill when, in reality, she was perfectly healthy. This left Gypsy essentially bald until her imprisonment for the tragic murder of her mother. As her hair grew back while incarcerated, Gypsy began experimenting with different styles after her December 2023 release. From blonde to brunette, she continuously played with her look, eventually adopting a blonde style in line with her partner, Ken Urker’s preference.
However, things took a turn after her release when she realized her marriage to her first husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, wasn’t working. They soon parted ways, and Gypsy reconnected with Ken. In December 2024, they welcomed their daughter, marking a new milestone in Gypsy’s life.
Embracing her transformation, Gypsy recently shared her fresh new hairstyle on social media. Sporting shoulder-length hair to start, she visited a salon for a dramatic change, emerging with a chic, short brunette bob that radiates vitality. Fans had mixed reactions, with some praising her new look, while others lamented the loss of her longer locks.
Some fans expressed disappointment, with comments like, “It’s giving ‘let me speak to the manager,'” and “That just made you look much older than you are.” On the flip side, many supporters loved the bob, noting it symbolized Gypsy shedding the negativity of her past and embracing her new role as a mother. A few called her look “confident,” and fans were quick to note her rejuvenated spirit as she shared a snap with her daughter before heading to the market.
