Katie Holmes turned heads at Paris Fashion Week, showcasing her effortlessly cool style in a bold lemon-yellow outfit. The 46-year-old actress attended the Zimmerman Womenswear Fall/Winter show in Paris, where she was dressed to perfection in a plunging brown bodysuit, paired with a matching yellow coat and linen pants. A tortoiseshell belt completed the chic look.
Holmes accessorized with a brown handbag featuring gold accents and layered delicate necklaces. Her long brown hair was styled in loose beachy waves, adding to her relaxed yet fashionable vibe. A smoky eye finished off her makeup, giving her a fresh, youthful appearance.
The actress, who looked ageless, sat next to Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne at the event. Holmes shared her admiration for the brand’s creators, Nicky and Simone Zimmerman, telling Elle, “I’m really proud of these women. Zimmermann has grown so much creatively, and their shows just keep getting bigger.”
Holmes also reflected on her approach to fashion, saying, “I start with comfort and occasion, and I love colors. A pop of color never goes abstract.” She added that she enjoys mixing vintage pieces with contemporary styles, mentioning her current fondness for brooches, though she wasn’t wearing one at the show.
Having recently wrapped up her Broadway run in Our Town, Holmes is now preparing for the release of the second season of Poker Face. The show, starring Natasha Lyonne, follows a casino waitress with a talent for spotting lies. Holmes, who is joining the cast in season two, expressed her excitement for the project. “I loved working with Natasha. She’s incredible,” Holmes said.
Holmes also shared details about her character in Poker Face, explaining, “I play a woman named Greta, who’s married to Frank. Frank owns a funeral home, and Greta wants a bigger life. She becomes friends with Charlie, Natasha’s character.”
While on break from Broadway, Holmes has been enjoying some downtime, particularly in Paris. “When I’m here, I like to go to my favorite coffee place, feel comfortable, and explore new galleries and places I haven’t been to before,” she said.
Holmes is adjusting to life as an empty nester after her daughter, Suri Cruise, left for college in September. However, the pair still stay close, with Suri attending several of Holmes’ Broadway shows and celebrating her birthday with her mother’s castmates in December. The duo was also spotted together in New York during Suri’s winter break from Carnegie Mellon University.
As Holmes embraces this new chapter in her life, she continues to shine both on and off the screen, making her mark at Paris Fashion Week with her stylish presence.
