Ansel Elgort made a rare appearance on the red carpet for the Broadway opening of Glengarry Glen Ross on Monday, March 31.
The 31-year-old actor, known for his roles in hit films, wore a blue suit and had shoulder-length hair as he attended the premiere of the 2025 revival of the 1983 stage play. The production stars Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr, and Donald Webber Jr. Glengarry Glen Ross tells the story of four morally questionable real estate agents in Chicago.
Elgort completed his look with a matching teal tie and was seen carrying his own camera while walking the red carpet.
The actor’s most recent role was in Tokyo Vice, where he played Jake Adelstein, an American journalist exploring Tokyo’s criminal underworld. The show ran from 2022 to 2024 and remains his only project since starring in Steven Spielberg’s 2021 film West Side Story.
Elgort has kept a low profile since 2020, following allegations of sexual assault made by a woman named Gabby, which she claimed occurred in 2014. The allegations surfaced just before the release of West Side Story, where Elgort played the romantic lead, Tony. He denied the accusations in a written statement, saying he had never assaulted anyone, and the post was later deleted.
Elgort rose to fame in the 2010s with starring roles in popular coming-of-age films such as The Fault in Our Stars, Divergent, and Baby Driver. He is also set to appear in an upcoming adaptation of Cecelia Ahern’s novel If You Could See Me Now, according to Deadline.
