Melissa Gorga is giving her look a fresh update for the season. On April 8, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories taken at a salon. “A little hair sess with my favorites,” she captioned the stunning photo, tagging her hairstylist, Rachael Sackie, and her cousin, Tara Bogota, who is described as a “skincare provider” and “drybar owner.”
In the photo, Melissa showed off a refreshed hair look for spring. Her deep brunette base was enhanced with honey blonde highlights, and subtle face-framing highlights were painted through to the ends. The color gave her hair a vibrant, warm feel perfect for the upcoming season.
Melissa also debuted a shorter haircut in December 2024, which she first revealed on Instagram. “Chop chop. [A] little shorter and a little blonder thanks to my girl,” she wrote, tagging Sackie for the makeover. The new style featured an espresso base with caramel ribbons and highlights, and Melissa had her hair cut several inches shorter to create a blunt, shoulder-length style. This shorter look was a departure from the long extensions she had worn in the past.
Though Melissa has recently favored a deeper brunette color, she has experimented with lighter hair in the past. For Valentine’s Day, she shared a throwback photo with her husband, Joe Gorga, celebrating their love. In the picture, Melissa sported noticeably lighter hair, a mix of chestnut and blonde highlights, and a short, shoulder-grazing chop. This vibrant, fresh style was a big contrast to her usual deep brunette look. After seeing this chic bob, fans are eager to see Melissa embrace a similar shoulder-length cut again.
