Love It Or List It may be back on HGTV this month, but longtime host Hilary Farr won’t be returning to the series. While fans are excited to see designer Page Turner take over alongside David Visentin, many are still missing Farr.
Fortunately, the 73-year-old star has been keeping in touch with her fans on Instagram, showing off a stunning new look. In a series of recent videos, Farr explained that she is renovating her Toronto kitchen. What began as a simple painting project has now turned into a full renovation. She joked that she’s unsure whether she’s renovating to “love it or list it.”
Her former co-host, David Visentin, also joined in, humorously commenting, “Are you really going to make me say it? Of course, you design to List It! You know where to reach me ;).”
While packing up her cabinets for the renovation, Farr shared a handy tip: using styrofoam plates to protect dishes during the move. However, it was her hair that really caught fans’ attention. Farr, who has embraced her natural gray hair, looks stunning with her new silver locks. Fans were quick to comment, with one writing, “Your hair is fabulous!” and another adding, “Love seeing you! You look fab as a fellow silver sister.”
One commenter expressed hesitation about going gray, asking, “What made you go gray for your hair? I’m considering it, so tired of the expense… I’m just a little verklempt!” Farr responded with encouraging advice, saying, “Grow it out and if you hate it- go back to coloring your hair.”
Though we miss seeing Hilary on HGTV, we’re thrilled that she’s keeping fans updated on Instagram!
