After a challenging breakup and a quiet awards season for her directorial debut Blink Twice, Zoë Kravitz is embracing change this spring. The actress, who ended her engagement to Channing Tatum in October 2024, stepped out on Friday for the Saint Laurent x Vanity Fair pre-Oscars dinner in Los Angeles, showcasing a fresh look both in her outfit and hairstyle.
For the event, Kravitz swapped her usual little black dresses for a striking creamsicle-colored silk gown. The dress featured a plunging lace neckline and a high-low hem, with a ruffled train at the back. To complete her spring-inspired ensemble, she paired the gown with sheer black tights and slingback heels.
In a notable departure from her signature brunette style, Kravitz also debuted a new hair color. She lightened her typically jet-black hair to a softer brown with honey highlights. She wore her hair in voluminous waves, parted in the middle, and complemented the new color with a coral lip and a light dusting of pink blush.
Meanwhile, across town, Tatum was spotted at another pre-Oscar event with his new girlfriend, Inka Williams. The couple, who first sparked dating rumors in January, confirmed their relationship by holding hands at the event.
Despite their breakup, Kravitz has spoken fondly of Tatum in a recent interview with Elle. When asked about their split, she shared that she still cares for him “very much.” She also reflected on their work together on Blink Twice, saying, “Not at all [does the breakup affect how I feel about the film]. I love this thing that we made together. I care for him very much. Hearing about how great his performance was warms my heart, and I’m so happy that all of it happened.”
Kravitz added, “I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
