A video of Iranian hairstylist Saeideh Ariaei showcasing her unique ‘teapot’ hairstyle has taken the internet by storm, capturing the attention of Instagram users worldwide.

Many hairstylists share their innovative and extravagant creations on social media, but Saeideh Ariaei’s latest creation stands out for its creativity and complexity. She recently posted a video on Instagram where she transformed a model’s hair into a fully functional ‘teapot.’
The timelapse video starts with Ariaei tying the model’s hair into a high ponytail. As the video progresses, she meticulously constructs the teapot shape using a wire frame fixed onto the model’s head with a hot glue gun. She enhances the volume through backcombing and then wraps the hair around the metallic frame, securing it with a quick-setting spray.
To ensure a seamless finish, Ariaei uses a form wrap in the same shade as the model’s hair, securing it with an air dryer to prevent any loose strands. She completes the look by braiding the remaining hair and fixing it around the base of the teapot. The highlight of the video is when Ariaei fills the teapot with water and pours herself a cup, demonstrating the hairstyle’s functionality.
